The Witch and the Geek

Fey Hepplewhite, a talented costume designer, relies on her brilliant neighbor—a nanotechnology genius—to create her one-of-a-kind accessories. But when a bizarre malfunction causes an experimental ogre-eye purse to behave dangerously, Fey is determined to uncover what went wrong. Instead of her reclusive collaborator, she finds a stranger at the door: Tom Carpenter, heir to the neighboring ancestral estate. Their instant attraction is impossible to ignore, even as increasingly disturbing events begin to spiral around them. Tom arrives home seeking refuge from personal tragedy, only to be pulled into Fey’s chaotic world when her rogue nanotech creation injures his brother. Fascinated by the beautiful and unconventional woman next door, Tom repairs the faulty device and quickly realizes the malfunction may be no accident. As mysterious threats close in, Fey and Tom are forced into an uneasy partnership that soon becomes something far deeper. Together, they must uncover who is targeting Fey before deadly secrets destroy them both.
