But when a fellow designer turns up dead in the conference hall, the convention becomes a crime scene—and everyone is a suspect. Trapped overnight with a charming Colombian detective, Victor Vega, April finds herself drawn into both a murder investigation and an unexpected romance. When Victor suspects April’s new friend Marty, she ignores orders and starts sleuthing on her own. But the killer is watching, and April’s curiosity may make her the next player out of the game.
