Description

Nora Manning flees a life of torment, desperate in a search for safety as well as anonymity. A random stop in affluent Bartholomew, New York, provides what she needs when she finds employment as a live-in housekeeper/cook for businessman Ben Stafford. As they coexist inside his home with polite deference for each other, she soon realizes Ben’s need for seclusion equals her own.
